About

Ashleigh Taylor-Schmidt is the founder and clinic director of Golden Root Acupuncture. She’s a fertility and women’s health acupuncture specialist. She holds a Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is a Colorado State licensed and Nationally certified acupuncturist.  She is a recognized Diplomate of Acupuncture and Herbology by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), is certified in Clean Needle Technique, and is a member of the Colorado Acupuncture Association.

Ashleigh’s passion for this medicine first began as a young professional, working a regular 9-5 job.  Feeling a sense of void and a constant outpour of stress produced by her job and lifestyle, Ashleigh turned to acupuncture.  Within a matter of months, she noticed a change within herself that can only be described as profoundly life-altering. Her sleep, digestion, and overall  sense of wellbeing began to improve dramatically.  She felt less stressed and more content with her life.  Ashleigh then began the journey of becoming a Practitioner of Acupuncture, with the hopes of bringing others the same life-altering experience.

Ashleigh has dedicated her life to helping her patients enrich their lives by combining the ancient practice of acupuncture and the healing nature of Chinese herbal medicine.  She works one-on-one with her patients to develop a customized treatment plan, as well as honest and realistic expectations of each individual’s recovery process. Her goal is to have each patient leave the treatment feeling safe, relaxed and relieved.  She treats a wide range of aliments including- but not limited to- insomnia, infertility, digestive issues, mental disturbances, stress and anxiety, pain, headaches and migraines.
